The H&M Studio collection, inspired by 1990s black-and-white fashion photography, focuses on “great tailoring,” according to Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s creative advisor and head of design for womenswear. This season, the collection combines heavy wool with delicate lace, showcasing a mix of precise construction and deliberately unfinished edges.

Both Elias and Fass have embraced the collection's contrasting silhouettes and textures, creating outfits that transition seamlessly from day to night. Outside of the hectic schedule, they take time between shows to personalize their selections from the H&M Studio pieces.

Outerwear plays a crucial role in their ensembles. Elias, hailing from London, chose a black padded coat with faux fur trim and a long-line blazer dress, while New Yorker Fass opted for a charcoal wool trench and a black slouchy leather jacket. Both layered these over adaptable lightweight separates, enabling them to respond to changing temperatures throughout the events.

The H&M Studio AW26 collection showcases a versatile color palette, from timeless neutrals like black and grey to vibrant hues. Fass is particularly drawn to brighter elements, mixing a light pink skirt with an oversized shirt and t-shirt, while a silver sequin slip adds sparkle beneath her leather jacket. Elias combines comfort with sophistication in a deep satin co-ord with sienna stripes and a textured black skirt paired with a sharp blazer dress.

As they prepare for Paris Fashion Week, their suitcases brim with selections from H&M Studio, ensuring both editors are well-equipped for the season's fashion demands. The H&M Studio Autumn/Winter 2026 collection will be available in select stores and online at hm.com starting September 24, 2026.
