The collaboration with BVLGARI marks the brand’s entry into the refillable travel spray segment. The Le Gemme Tygar Travel Spray, an extension of the iconic Tygar fragrance from BVLGARI's Haute Parfumerie collection, utilizes Aptar Beauty's Nomad Refill platform. This platform allows the 10 ml purse spray to be refilled directly from full-sized perfume bottles in under five seconds, ensuring a clean and secure process. The glass vial can be easily removed from the casing for refilling, featuring a patented integrated connector compatible with SNI15 screw-on neck finishes that minimizes the risk of leakage and spillage during the refill process.
Aptar Beauty designed the travel spray to reflect BVLGARI's vision, drawing inspiration from the iconic door of the Via Condotti BVLGARI Boutique in Rome. The sleek black anodized aluminum casing is complemented by golden finishing and a black marble cap with elegant veining and a magnetic closure for intuitive use. The top features a golden aluminum plaque engraved with the BVLGARI logo. Stephan Brandts, Senior Sales Manager Custom Beauty EMEA, noted the technical achievement of integrating natural marble, stating that the custom team worked closely with BVLGARI to ensure visual consistency and effective assembly.
Johan Duval, Head of Development at BVLGARI, praised the packaging quality, particularly the marble cap, highlighting the successful collaboration with Aptar Beauty. The selection of Black Marquina marble balanced the natural uniqueness of each piece with the luxury object's required uniformity. Extensive design and engineering efforts were essential to seamlessly integrate the marble, aluminum components, and dispensing system into durable packaging.
The launch represents two years of collaborative development between Aptar Beauty’s custom experts and BVLGARI. As a comprehensive partner in dispensing, engineering, and material science, Aptar Beauty supported the entire product development process. The Tygar Travel Spray features the Classic INUNE prestige fragrance pump, which utilizes a metal-free mechanism for optimal formula compatibility and olfactive neutrality, enhancing the fragrance experience for consumers.
