Law enforcement responded to the residence at 499 Panoramic Way shortly after 10:30 a.m. Officers found Bryan Walker, 61, and Michelle Min, 63, each with gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to provide life-saving measures, both were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

The Oakland Police Department confirmed that a firearm was recovered, and investigators are looking into the circumstances that led to their deaths. No other suspects are being sought, and authorities do not believe there is a broader threat to the community.

A neighbor, who heard gunfire, alerted the authorities about the incident. Reports indicate that the couple's home is located at 435 Panoramic Way, which has a Berkeley address although it is situated in Oakland.

Paul Min, Michelle's brother, expressed his belief that Bryan, who had experienced significant financial losses recently, may have shot Michelle before taking his own life. He described Bryan as dependable and hard-working and struggled to reconcile this incident with the person he knew.

Paul Min noted that there were discussions about getting Bryan psychiatric help, particularly after he suggested extreme measures involving the three of them. He revealed that on the day of the incident, Michelle was planning to have Bryan institutionalized.

In contrast, Michelle was reportedly more focused on moving forward and was contemplating simplifying their lives, including possibly relocating from the Bay Area.

Bryn Walker was established in Berkeley, California, and has expanded to include six stores and sells products through approximately 1,000 boutiques nationwide.
