The fair will introduce the Innovation Studio showcase and the Future Horizons forum, building on the technology momentum from previous years. Ms. Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, noted the fair's tighter focus, reflecting Shenzhen's dual reputation as a center for fashion and innovation. She emphasized that the theme of textile innovation and the new initiatives are responses to market demands aimed at attracting buyers from across the region, China, and internationally.

Efforts are underway to promote AI integration across more than 60 textile fairs globally, positioning Intertextile Shenzhen as a significant contributor to these initiatives. Local public and private sectors are collaborating to enhance Shenzhen's CBD in Futian as a fashion hub, with AI innovation identified as a crucial growth driver. Similarly, Dongguan's Humen is leveraging AI to enhance its garment industry's digitalization and sustainability.

With its strategic position in Futian and accessibility to other textile hubs such as Dongguan, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, Intertextile Shenzhen expects strong participation from both regional and international visitors. China has extended its visa-free policy to 50 countries, including Canada and the UK, and five new ports in the GBA are now eligible for 240-hour visa-free transit.

The Innovation Studio will debut alongside last year's popular display area, The Closet, which highlighted eco-friendly materials and designs from emerging creators. The new studio will showcase cutting-edge textile designs and materials, facilitating better trend navigation for visitors and exhibitors alike.

Future Horizons will feature a dedicated forum discussing the latest industry innovations, offering garment manufacturers, textile suppliers, and designers insights that could shape future growth. The fair will also provide a comprehensive program covering important trends in design, technology, business, and sustainability.

Exhibiting last year, Mr. Justin Ko from the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Design (AiDLab) praised the fair, stating that AI drastically enhances efficiency in traditional processes and attracted strong interest from domestic manufacturers and designers.

Intertextile Shenzhen serves as a pivotal platform for introducing emerging trends and innovative models, enabling stakeholders to explore successful technologies and practices through engaging displays and discussions. The fair will be held concurrently with Yarn Expo Shenzhen and PH Value, organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, Messe Frankfurt (Shenzhen) Co Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the China Textile Information Center.
