During fashion week, Vogue editors like Honey Sweet Elias from British Vogue and Madeline Harper Fass from Vogue.com have days packed with runway shows, showroom visits, dinners, and late-night parties. Their strategy for success is to pack a carefully curated wardrobe with versatile pieces that can be styled in multiple ways. This September, both editors chose to base their wardrobes on H&M Studio’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection for the fashion circuit spanning New York, London, Milan, and Paris.

The H&M Studio collection draws inspiration from 1990s black-and-white fashion photography, emphasizing what Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear, calls "great tailoring." Johansson noted the collection's appeal lies in the juxtaposition of heavy wool with delicate lace and precise construction alongside unfinished edges, creating a dynamic and lively aesthetic.
Elias and Fass skillfully interpreted the collection's contrasting silhouettes and fabrics to create looks suitable for the entire fashion week schedule. While enjoying a brief respite between shows, they made personal selections from their H&M Studio A/W 2026 picks. Each prominently featured outerwear choices to accommodate the variable temperatures during the events. Elias chose a black padded coat with faux fur trim and a long-line blazer dress, whereas Fass opted for a charcoal wool trench and a slouchy black leather jacket with funnel necklines. Both layered their outerwear over lightweight separates, such as high-waisted denim trousers, a knee-length skirt, and a fitted jersey tank.
The collection showcases a versatile color palette, including classic neutrals and bolder hues. Fass gravitated toward brighter colors, layering a pink skirt under an oversized shirt and a classic white T-shirt. A silver sequin slip dress, enhanced by lace trim, added sparkle beneath her leather jacket. Conversely, Elias combined comfort and elegance with a deep satin co-ord featuring sienna stripes and a textured knee-length black skirt paired with a sharp blazer dress.
With their suitcases filled with H&M Studio selections, both editors are well-prepared for the upcoming Paris Fashion Week. The H&M Studio Autumn/Winter 2026 collection will be available in select stores and online at hm.com starting September 24, 2026.
