A grand opening celebration is scheduled for October 10, from noon to 6 p.m., featuring complimentary drinks and snacks, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. Co-owner Lawren Konschnik stated that she runs the store with her wife, Heather Konschnik. The shop is an extension of their artisan skincare business, LK Artistry, which they have operated online and at local festivals since 2019.
The Gift Shoppe showcases LK Artistry’s handmade soaps, scrubs, lotions, and other items, along with a curated range of products from local creators. Customers can find popular skincare items, such as the Magnesium Dream Cream made with shea butter, lavender, and chamomile. Additional offerings will include locally printed T-shirts from The Bethlum Shop and creative guitar string jewelry from High Strung Studios.
In addition to skincare, the store features artisan teas, houseplants, home décor items like throw pillows and blankets, holiday decorations, and a variety of fashion accessories. Local products range from handcrafted Moravian glass stars to prints celebrating downtown Bethlehem.
Konschnik emphasized their commitment to supporting other local businesses: “We are all about supporting other small businesses, and we find items that speak to us to bring into the store on a wholesale basis.”
The Bethlehem Gift Shoppe is open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, located between Into the Mystic and Crave Nutrition. The new shop has transformed a space that was formerly occupied by Kaleidoscope Collective, which continues to operate through local markets and events.
