The Canine Project to Launch FURVIVE, a Premium Dog Care Line Featuring Skincare Ingredients

Developed by Jan Sprung, a skincare expert, and Nancy Novograd, owner of the New York-based animal talent agency All Tame Animals, FURVIVE™ aims to enhance traditional dog bathing practices by focusing on the skin beneath the fur. Sprung emphasized that while people are increasingly conscious about the ingredients in their own skincare, dog bath products often overlook canine skin needs.

At the core of FURVIVE™ is Copaiba, a botanical extract from Brazil, which is integrated into the canine project’s proprietary COPAIBOPLEX™. This ingredient is complemented by a range of others commonly found in high-end human skincare products, including Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Oat Kernel, Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, and Argan Oil. These ingredients come together in a formulation tailored for canine skin, promoting cleansing, soothing, hydrating, and conditioning benefits in one step.

Nancy Novograd noted the importance of the overall experience, stating that FURVIVE™ not only contributes to a shiny and soft coat but also brings an elevated skincare approach to dog care.

The product transforms from a rich gel into a thick, luxurious lather, effectively removing dirt and odors while conditioning the fur. The formula is pH-balanced for dogs, vegan, and free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, or PEGs. It is also cruelty-free, made in the USA, and suitable for puppies eight weeks and older, regardless of coat type.

FURVIVE™ Restorative Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash will retail for $33 for 12 fl oz (355 mL) and will be available for purchase on the canine project® website and Amazon starting October 15.
