The creation of DOSE (OF) DERM stemmed from Dr. Farhang’s decade of experience treating patients seeking the dual benefits of coverage and skincare in their makeup. She found that tinted sunscreens offered insufficient coverage, while traditional foundations were often heavy and lacked skin health benefits. Her personal journey with postpartum melasma further fueled her commitment to developing makeup products that treat visible skin concerns while simplifying the beauty routine for busy women.
"After more than a decade of caring for patients, I kept hearing the same thing: they wanted makeup that covered imperfections while actually doing something good for their skin," Dr. Farhang said.
