On Monday, September 21, after arriving in Milan at 11 am, I settled into the AC Milano Hotel. Following some self-care, including a nail refresh, I held a few meetings and enjoyed dinner with our EIC, Faith Xue, to ease into the bustling fashion week.

Tuesday, September 22, began with the highly anticipated final Diesel show by Glenn Martens. The runway was transformed into a provocative setting, capturing the spirit of the week. The atmosphere, coupled with remarks from Kim Petras about the show's boldness, set a lively tone. Later, I participated in a fitting for Off-White, accompanied by stylists The Reismans, before indulging in a late dinner at Da Bolognese, where we enjoyed a shared tiramisu.

Wednesday, September 23, proved to be one of the most active days. I attended the Jil Sander show, which lived up to the buzz with its crinkled fabrics and soft hues. Following that, I caught the Antonio Marras show, culminating in a dramatic scene of a bride and groom. The day also included a preview of Ralph Lauren’s SS27 collection and a glimpse into Brunello Cucinelli’s elegant world. Dinner at Gloria Osteria Milano rounded off a busy day.

On Thursday, September 24, I attended the Max Mara show, which was grand and memorable, featuring a Gossip Girl reunion. Back-to-back re-sees with Jil Sander and Prada revealed stunning collection details, highlighted by Prada’s bra tops. Later, I moved into an Airbnb near Duomo and enjoyed backstage access at Roberto Cavalli, where Y2K influences were prominent. The day closed with an exquisite multi-course Italian dinner at Don Carlos.

Friday, September 25, started with notable interactions at the Tod's show, showcasing a blend of swimwear and leather. After experiencing the playful Blumarine collection, highlighted by furry heels that inspired potential bridal outfits, I rewarded myself with gelato on our Airbnb balcony. The day concluded with The Attico's sensational show, integrating intimacy within the seating arrangements, and a standout dinner at Da Giacomo.

Saturday, September 26, kicked off at Ferragamo, where I admired a diverse collection. A visit to the Dsquared2 showroom included a surprise encounter with Britiny. Following a remarkable Italian lunch at Casa Fiori Chiari, we explored Milan before savoring dinner at Da Niko in the Bulgari Hotel.

Finally, on Sunday, September 27, I looked forward to the Gucci and Ferragamo re-sees, which exceeded expectations with standout pieces like the satin east-west hug bags and striking footwear. A relaxing massage at the Irene Forte Spa provided a soothing conclusion to a thrilling week in Milan, paving the way for the upcoming Paris Fashion Week.
