The collection, themed around the "YAYING Three Treasures," showcases the brand's dedication to natural materials and artisanal craftsmanship. Key components include 6A-grade mulberry silk sourced from the brand's organic sericulture base in Ningnan, Sichuan, utilized for lightweight spring/summer apparel and textiles. Additionally, the collection features snowfield yak down, obtained through collaborations in Aba and Nagqu, emphasizing sustainably sourced fibres and low-dyeing processes for knitwear and lightweight outerwear. The materials also include Alashan cashmere, specifically refined to approximately 15.5 microns and traceable via QR codes, ensuring quality in premium knits and versatile pieces.
At the booth, EP YAYING will highlight five interconnected segments: the main line, Blue Label contemporary ethnic collection, Red Label high-end collection, shoes, bags and accessories, as well as home lifestyle products. The main line includes elegant workwear and relaxed everyday outfits, while Blue Label incorporates cultural motifs from the Miao and Yi heritage, developed through specialized ateliers for cultural dressing. Red Label draws inspiration from traditional symbols like peony and ruyi, catering to both work and social contexts.
Operating three creative centers in Paris, Shanghai, and Jiaxing, alongside a Traditional Chinese Garment Culture Research Building, EP YAYING maintains ateliers for various specialties including embroidery and cashmere. This infrastructure supports a unified approach to craftsmanship, connecting raw materials to finished garments. For this collection, the display will focus on material swatches and craft samples, providing clarity on construction, lead times, and sustainable practices.
EP YAYING first joined MODE in March 2026 and is participating for the second time, aiming to strengthen relationships with buyers from Europe, Southeast Asia, the United States, and Central Asia. The brand emphasizes the importance of Chinese materials and craftsmanship in its global strategy, prioritizing cultural integrity over low-cost exports. Founded in 1988 in Jiangnan, EP YAYING is renowned for its use of premium natural materials in creating high-quality lifestyle products for contemporary women.
