The new boutiques promise exclusive merchandise and personalized services. While Hermès is set to open soon, Prada has launched its store with a focus on handbags, along with ready-to-wear (RTW) offerings. Bottega Veneta’s boutique features unique design elements like terrazzo flooring and a broad selection of items including leather bags, shoes, fragrances, jewelry, and travel accessories. Notably, it has introduced several new furniture pieces, such as a glass-and-vitrine table, intended to foster a more intimate shopping atmosphere.

Zegna's menswear boutique promises an immersive experience with contemporary furnishings and a foliage-inspired color palette. The store features well-known collections, including Triple Stitch sneakers and other menswear staples.

Dior has expanded its presence with a store offering a variety of leather goods, accessories, and seasonal clothing for both men and women, set in a space designed with mirrored ceilings for a bright, airy feel. Additionally, Smythson, a presence at Heathrow for the past 30 years, offers high-end stationery, diaries, leather goods, and bespoke gold-stamping services allowing for personalization of purchases.

Nancy Stewart, head of Luxury, Fashion, and Duty Free at Heathrow, emphasized that luxury shopping should provide both choice and exclusivity. She noted the airport's commitment to enhancing the passenger experience, particularly in a challenging commercial landscape post-Brexit, where the UK does not offer tax-free shopping. Stewart highlighted that the upcoming Hermès boutique aligns with Heathrow’s goal of establishing itself as a leader in passenger experience.
