The theme of this year’s COSMETIC 360 was "REGENERATIONS," featuring over 260 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, and it is recognized as a leading platform for innovation in the cosmetics sector. CHANDO Group has focused on the challenge of restoring skin vitality affected by fatigue for over a decade. On October 15, Shanshan Jiang, MD, Research and Science Communications Officer of CHANDO Group, delivered a keynote address titled "Chronic Stress Aging: A New Anti-Aging Paradigm for Chinese Skin," focusing on the science behind fatigue-related skin aging.
Since 2024, CHANDO Group has collaborated with a research team from the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health to study age-related changes in the skin of Chinese women. Findings showed that the age at which wrinkle formation begins has shifted approximately four years earlier since a study conducted from 2018 to 2023, highlighting the impact of lifestyle factors such as sleep deprivation, smoking, and stress on skin aging. The concept of "Fatiguescence (Fatigue-Aging)" was introduced, further examining mitochondrial function and energy metabolism in relation to skin aging.
The Group identified Himalayan extremophile yeast HiMurchaSin™ as a unique ingredient after screening over 600 strains and then developed HiMurchaSin™ Super Anti-Aging Peptide through AI-driven computational biology, targeting PGC-1α, a key regulator of mitochondrial biogenesis. Efficacy tests showed the peptide enhances cellular renewal and mitochondrial function, contributing to the fight against fatigue-related skin aging.
Following the keynote, CHANDO Group participated in a roundtable discussion with international experts on emerging trends in anti-aging research and the cosmetics market. The panel looked into global perspectives, scientific translations, brand strategies, and market dynamics.
During the summit, HiMurchaSin™ Super Anti-Aging Peptide was recognized with the INPD Raw Materials Award, praised for its superior penetration capabilities compared to traditional tetrapeptides. It is already included in the seventh generation of CHANDO's Super Anti-Aging Little Purple Bottle, launched in April 2026, and the reformulated CHANDO Little Purple Bottle Super Anti-Aging Cream.
This award marks CHANDO Group's second recognition from INPD, following their 2024 accolade for their work with Himalayan extremophile yeast. The Group presented a diverse array of proprietary ingredients at COSMETIC 360, including HiMurchaSin™, space rose cell PDRN, and more, showcasing their extensive expertise in skin science and product innovation.
CHANDO Group has developed over 20 core ingredients and operates a research and development center with 20 laboratories focusing on skin, ingredient, and product science. In April 2026, the Group established a Joint Laboratory for Scientific Beauty and Health with the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health to further explore mitochondrial aging and skin barrier characteristics, aiming to turn scientific discoveries into advanced skincare solutions.
Through COSMETIC 360, CHANDO Group highlighted its commitment to beauty innovation, blending proprietary ingredient research with a nuanced understanding of Chinese skin to create globally competitive skincare products.
