The theme of this year’s COSMETIC 360, which featured over 260 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, was "REGENERATIONS." This platform is recognized internationally for its focus on innovation within the cosmetics sector. CHANDO Group has been researching skin regeneration, particularly the effects of fatigue on skin vitality, for over a decade. On October 15, Shanshan Jiang, MD and Research and Science Communications Officer at CHANDO, delivered a keynote titled "Chronic Stress Aging: A New Anti-Aging Paradigm for Chinese Skin," discussing a scientific approach to addressing fatigue-related skin aging among Chinese populations.

Since 2024, CHANDO Group has collaborated with a research team from the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health led by Wang Sijia to study age-related changes in Chinese women's skin. Data comparisons from 2018 and 2023 revealed that the age for accelerated wrinkle formation has shifted approximately four years earlier, indicating a faster progression of skin aging associated with lifestyle factors such as reduced sleep, smoking, alcohol consumption, and cumulative stress. CHANDO introduces the term "Fatiguescence (Fatigue-Aging)" to describe this phenomenon, exploring mitochondrial function and cellular energy metabolism in skin aging.

In its research, the Group screened over 600 extremophile strains collected in the Himalayas, identifying the Himalayan extremophile yeast HiMurchaSin™ as a crucial ingredient. Using AI-driven computational biology, they analyzed more than 2.8 million yeast protein sequences to discover the HiMurchaSin™ Super Anti-Aging Peptide, targeting PGC-1α, which regulates mitochondrial biogenesis. Efficacy tests suggest the peptide supports cellular renewal and promotes mitochondrial biogenesis.

Following the keynote, CHANDO participated in a roundtable titled "Eastern and Western Perspectives: Anti-Aging Research and the Anti-Aging Cosmetics Market," discussing emerging global trends in the cosmetics industry. During the summit, HiMurchaSin™ Super Anti-Aging Peptide's recognition at the INPD Awards highlighted the ingredient's superior penetration capacity compared to conventional tetrapeptides, underscoring its potential in combating fatigue-related skin aging.

CHANDO Group also exhibited a diverse portfolio of proprietary ingredients, including HiMurchaSin™ and HiMurchaSin™ Super Anti-Aging Peptide, as well as other innovations like space rose cell PDRN and blue gentian. These ingredients are incorporated into various signature products attracting interest from international visitors.

With over 20 core ingredients developed in-house and a dedicated R&D Center with 20 laboratories, CHANDO Group is committed to advancing skin science and product innovation. In April 2026, the Group established a Joint Laboratory for Scientific Beauty and Health with the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, focusing on mitochondrial aging and skin barrier characteristics. Through COSMETIC 360, CHANDO Group aimed to share its unique approach to skincare innovation, blending proprietary research with insights into Chinese skin characteristics.
