Recognized as the "Nobel Prize of the cosmetics industry," the IFSCC highlights advancements in cosmetic science and technology. Since its inaugural participation in 2015, CHANDO Group has had a total of 79 research papers accepted over the years, underscoring its commitment to showcasing Chinese beauty innovation on an international platform. This accomplishment is a testament to the extensive innovation ecosystem established by the company's R&D Center over its 25-year history.

CHANDO Group emphasizes that fundamental research must translate into products that fulfill real consumer needs. The 20 accepted papers cover a variety of topics, including innovations in skincare and personal well-being applications. Recent studies have introduced technologies that are already being integrated into multiple CHANDO brands, addressing areas such as aging, pigmentation management, scalp health, and sensory science.

One focal point at this Congress was the investigation of skin aging among Chinese demographics. Collaborating with the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, CHANDO Group conducted a two-year longitudinal study analyzing facial skin phenotypes of over 5,000 participants. The study revealed that aging among Chinese women begins earlier and progresses more rapidly than previously understood, influenced by factors such as reduced sleep, smoking, and alcohol consumption.

CHANDO Group has also focused on utilizing AI to enhance its ingredient research and development processes. A new AI-driven peptide discovery platform was established in collaboration with the ACRDC R&D Center, which allowed the screening of over 2.8 million yeast proteins to identify a novel anti-aging peptide, HiMurchaSin™. This innovation has already been included in the company’s latest skincare products.

The Congress also showcased CHANDO’s advancements in ingredient science, particularly utilizing unique Himalayan resources. The group has developed various innovative ingredients from extremophiles, including a yeast-derived PDRN that mimics human DNA more closely than conventional sources.

Research efforts have extended into other skincare areas, such as scalp care, women's intimate health, and cleansing technologies. The company presented novel approaches to maintaining microbial balance on the scalp and developed gentle solutions for intimate care using probiotic extracellular vesicles.

As Chinese beauty research continues to gain recognition globally, CHANDO Group’s participation at IFSCC 2026 further solidifies its role in advancing cosmetic science. With ongoing investments in R&D, the Group aims to transition China's beauty industry from "Made in China" to "Created in China," reflecting its commitment to original scientific breakthroughs.
